Looking for a classic gender neutral short pattern? Look no further! The track shorts are comfy, adorable, and good for any casual occasion!

Through the testing process 1/2" was taken off of the rise. Some took 1/2" off for the test so each photo will specify how much was added/taken off according to the current pattern.

If you’re trying to decide which size to sew I would highly suggest sizing DOWN for girls in sizes 0–3M to 6/7. Because these shorts are so gender neutral the run a little bigger. I find they fit cuter on the girls if they’re a little smaller, but if your girly likes the bigger/longer shorts then go ahead and pick her true size. Elastic width will also change the rise slightly. For my daughter I like to size down and use 1 1/4” elastic!
